I served one term on Alexandria's Planning and Zoning in 1997 and have been privileged to serve on Alexandria's City Council since 1998. I previously served two terms on the City of Crestview's City Council and one year as that city's Building Inspector and Code Enforcement officer. I have been a full time Realtor/Broker in Campbell County since 1970. I serve as a Kentucky State Certified State Ombudsman for Northern Kentucky Senior Citizens and served three years on the Campbell County PVA's "Board of Appeals". I currently serve three committees within Council; Public Works, Annexation and Chairman of the Safety Committee. I have seen a lot of significant changes while involved in Alexandria City Council and we are moving forward in a positive manner. I appreciate having been given the opportunity to serve my community and honor the trust the voters have placed in me. I take this responsibility very seriously. I urge everyone to get involved in your city government. Your voice and opinions DO MATTER! Please call me with any concerns, questions or suggestions. I am just a telephone call away - 635-4333. Again, thank you for allowing me to represent you on Alexandria's City Council. Scott Fleckinger - City Council Email me: This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. I work as a registered representative for the Western and Southern Financial Group and am a member of the N.A.R.. I spent the first 22 years of my working life as a manufacturing engineer in the footwear and jet engine industries. I currently serve as chair of the Personnel committee and am a member of the Safety and Finance/Budget committees. Thanks to everyone who made it possible for me to serve on council. I want to urge others to get involved in the city and contribute ideas for positive results to better our community. After growing up in Campbell County and graduating from Campbell County High School in 1962 I served in Air Force intelligence from 1963-1971 while stationed in Texas, West Germany, Maryland and Viet Nam. Soon after my discharge I graduated from the University of Maryland with a BA in Business Administration. After living in Columbia, Maryland for 23 years, my wife, Susan, and I returned to Campbell County during the summer of 1996 while our daughter, Allison, attended the University of Kentucky. I have been in the financial services profession since 1975 and am also a licensed life and health insurance consultant in Kentucky. Additionally, I have earned Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) and Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) degrees from the American College in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania.Since returning home in 1996 I have been actively involved in several civic and community service areas: Alexandria Planning & Zoning Commission Treasurer since 1998, Holly Hill Board of Directors since 2003, Main Street Baptist Church Stewardship Committee Chairman since 1998 and Greater Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky Eagle Scout Association Advisory Board since 2002. My interests as a member of City Council are: 1) Keeping Alexandria a safe place in which to live and work; 2) Maintaining a fiscally sound municipality and 3) Properly managing our upcoming growth and prosperity. I want to keep our slogan “Where the city meets the country” a true statement of our quality of life. We are blessed to live in a fine piece of Americana where growth and progress are both alive and well. We need to embrace and manage our progress while maintaining our small town atmosphere. I look forward to serving the citizens of Alexandria as a member of our City Council. Lloyd Rogers - City Council Email me: This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. I have been a resident of Alexandria for 30+ years. I am married to Steven Weber and have two grown sons, Steven Jr. and Christopher. We have been blessed with four grandchildren.
I own and operate Community Car, an area business I started in 1988. I am a graduate of Campbell County High School. My wife's name is Debbie. Our son, Eric, goes to school at CCHS. I have had the pleasure of working for great people in this area. That is why I chose to run for council. I felt it was time to give something back to the community and want to see the city's future planned in a proper manner. Thank you to everyone for the amazing support in my first election.
My wife, Mary and I moved to Alexandria 33 years ago in 1977. We have three grown sons: Jonathon, Andrew and Brian each of whom have graduated from St. Mary's and Campbell County High School. Jon and Andy and his wife Kelly have added three grandsons (Nicholas, Kyle and Christian) to the family in the last five years. I began my association with City Council in 1998 and have served on boards and committees (i.e. Economic Development, Computer Justification and Planning and Zoning) in the city for 17 years.
