Alexandria City Council meets on a regular basis on the first and third Thursdays of each month. The meetings usually last approximately 20-30 minutes and are open to the public. You may also view on cable channel 16 on various days.

City Council meetings include issues from approving the budget to discussions on street repairs, police protection and community events to name a few.
