The Department of Criminal Justice Training, at Eastern Kentucky University, also developed a supervision course for law enforcements first line supervisors, the Sergeants. Former Sergeant George Schreiner attended The Academy of Police Supervison, Class II, an intensive 3 week course, graduating in August 2003.  Sergeant Wallace Hyden attended in 2006, and Sergeant Kevin Mathews attended in 2007
