The purpose of the Code Enforcement Board is to conduct hearings to determine whether there has been a violation of the zoning ordinance. This Board further can issue remedial orders and impose civil fines in order to provide an equitable, expeditious, effective, and inexpensive method of ensuring compliance with the City of Alexandria Zoning Ordinance. This Board meets upon request on the fourth Monday of the month at 7 p.m.
